First phase of Pavilion ready for hosting cricketing guests

Dharamsala: Having survived a controversy, the five-star “only for players” Pavilion resort, being built by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association at Kand village near Khaniara, is finally ready to welcome guests. The first phase of the resort was declared open on April 16. Constructed at a cost of crores of rupees, the resort is an engineering marvel and perhaps first of its kind in Himachal.

The huts offer five-star comforts like apartment space, business center, central heating, Jacuzzi, etc, just to name a few. It is for the first time that Himachal has witnessed such a construction technique whereby the whole structure has come up by just joining pre-fabricated wooden blocks.
