Kangra: Kachairi, Gurkhari and Khohala villagers in the outskirts of Kangra town continue to live under the threat of live shells as another live grenade was found in the open fields and defused by the bomb disposal squad of the Army, police said here today.
Kangra district police chief Atul Fulzele told that the live grenade was recovered yesterday from the fields. He said that a massive search operation would be carried in the three villages where live explosives including bombs and grenades were recovered during the last two-and-half months. A meeting is being arranged which would be attended by all the village pradhans of the area, police and army authorities, local prominent people and scrape dealers and steps would be discussed to eradicate the problem, he said.Read Full Story
