Himachal to seek world heritage status for CRI Kasuli

Solan: Himachal Pradesh government is planning to pursue its claim for heritage status for the 105-year-old Central Research Institute (CRI) in Kasuli on the lines of Kalka-Shimla Himalayan heritage railway track.
This was disclosed by Solan deputy commissioner Amar Singh Rathore while presiding over the 105th Foundation Day of CRI at Kasuli here last evening.

Rathore said that CRI has been serving the humanity by rendering its valuable services for last 100 years as it was founded on May 3, 1905, to manufacture life-saving vaccines or drugs in the country. The institute manufactures vaccines and drug which include anti-rabies, anti-venom, diphtheria, pertuses, tetanus (DPT), measles, typhoid, Japanese cephalics, paralytics, arias-serum, therapeutic and others vaccines.Read Full Story
