Rs 66.85 crore grant-in-aid for safe drinking water in rural areas

Shimla: The Union ministry of rural development has released grant-in-aid worth Rs 6,685.51 lakh to Himachal Pradesh during 2010-11, out of which Rs 6,094.73 lakh has been released towards the first installment of funds against allocation of Rs 12.189.45 lakh under NRDWP (normal, water quality and sustainability Programme Fund), while Rs 334.28 lakh has been released towards first installment of funds against allocation of Rs 668.55 lakh (Support Fund) for NRDWP.Read Full Story
