Thundershowers, hailstorms lash parts of Himachal

Shimla: Thundershowers and hailstorm lashed many parts of Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hours, slightly thinning the bumper apple crop in the state. Report arriving here from various part of the state stated that thundershowers lashed at Hamirpur town, recording 7 mm rainfall, while Mehre and Aghar area of the district and Theog of Shimla recorded 6 mm each. In Una district, Amb had 5 mm rain, Ghumarwin in Bilaspur, Jhungi in Kullu, Kotkhai in Shimla & Sangla in Kinnuar had 4 mm each, Una 3 mm and Kalpa 2.8 mm, respectively.Read Full Story
