Shimla: Congress today asked newly appointed BJP youth wing chief Anurag Thakur to tender an unconditional apology to the family of slain Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, who was killed by Maoists in Chattisgarh, as it was improper of him to celebrate his appointment just 2 Kms away from where the funeral was taking place.
At a media briefing, party spokesman Kuldeep Rathore said, “Anurag Thakur is feigning ignorance about the funeral of a CRPF jawan, who was gunned down by Maoists in Chattisgarh, taking place at Sanot village in Kangra while BJP was celebrating Thakur’s first visit to the state after being made BJP youth chief in the vicinity.”Read Full Story
