Shimla: Himachal Pradesh state government would be exploring the possibility of connecting Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial area with broad- gauge railway line by getting a feasibility survey conducted. This was revealed by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal while interacting with the industrialists at Baddi in Nalagarh sub-division of Solan after he laid foundation stone of lift drinking water supply scheme, Abarni, to be constructed at a estimated cost of Rs. 677.70 lakh.
Dhumal said the state government would consider rewarding entrepreneurs providing hundred percent employments to Himachali in their units. He said that there was no dearth of skilled and educated youth in the state. He appealed to the industrialists to pay minimum wages to every worker on par there duties and responsibilities and warned that Department would be dealt with on par the legal provisions. He also advised them to incorporate housing plans into their projects, which would bring efficiency amongst workers.Read Full Story
