Shimla: Unable to get the Delhi government to implement non-charging of commission from fruit growers at Azadpur market, the Himachal government has decided to file a contempt petition for enforcing court orders.
Horticulture minister Narender Bragta after seeking legal opinion at meeting in Delhi today asked for serving contempt notices against Delhi government, chairman Delhi agriculture and marketing board and chairman Delhi APMC and filing of an contempt petition in Delhi High Court for ensuring implementation of its interim orders.
Earlier agriculture secretary Ram Subhag Singh met with DM Spolia, principal secretary-cum-commissioner development with Delhi government and sought his intervention for getting the Delhi government to implement the interim orders of Delhi High Court.Read Full Story
