Shimla: The monsoon is still to arrive in Himachal Pradesh but cloudy sky is keeping up the possibility of rain or thundershowers at some part of the state whereas the met office here has warned of hailstorms in some parts of the state.
According to state meteorological officer Manmohan Singh, the Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continues to pass through Lat. 22.0°N/Long. 60.0°E, Lat. 22.0°N/Long. 69.0°E, at Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Indore, Seoni, Pendra, Ambikapur, Daltonganj, Gaya, Muzaffarpur and Raxaul and it will still take few more days to be active in the state. He said that pre-monsoon showers are likely to lash isolated parts of foothills and middle hills of the state and few parts in the high reaches.
