Karsog: While addressing a public gathering here today on the occuations of Independence Day celebrations, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minsiter Prem Kumar Dhumal announced 8 per cent dearness allowance (DA) to government employees and pensioners from January 2010 onward. The DA will be given in cash from August 2010, payable in the salary of September, 2010.
While declareding the benefit, he said that arrears would be credited to GPF accounts of the employees and arrears of pensioners would be given in near future benefiting about 3 lakh employees of the state and public undertakings and over one lakh pensioners. Read Full Story
