Kullu : A 17th century idol of Lord Raghunath really worth in crores rupees was stolen from a temple located on the Kullu town’s in Himachal Pradesh. The 400 year old historic Raghunath temple in Kullu, the Idol of Lord Raghunath was stolen from the temple. The Idol of lord were taken from Ayodhya.
Thieves carried out the killings in film style. They entered inside the temple from the roof and f clean hands on idols of loard. The police discovered that the thieves had broken the roof to enter the sanctum sanctorum. The preliminary investigations revealed that apart from the ancient idols, silver weighing more than five kilograms was also stolen. All of the Idol were coated with gold. The statue of the Holy Raghunath ji was created with Ashtdhatu and Saligram, in stolen Hanuman and Ganesh idol also included.
Theft found in the temple when priest coming in temple for morning ritual. The priest gave the information to the police. SP Surendra Verma and DSP Sanjay Sharma with team on the spot, arrived.
He has carried out an act of burglars quite vicious manner. Police have been involved in the investigation. Soon the accused be detained. It has been seized some areas. Teams of police in the surrounding area are also red.
