Cong hits back at BJP, alleges under-utilisation of central funds

Shimla: Hitting back at Himachal BJP leaders, who have been alleging discrimination against the state by the Union government, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee today lashed out at the state government claiming that it failed to fully utilize central funds given to the state for various developmental works.

Addressing a news conference here today, Congress state spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore said that the CAG had pointed out that the state government could not fully utilized fund given to it under National Rural Health Mission. He pointed out that the state government received Rs 300 crore under NREGA, but it could use only Rs 103 crore from this amount. The Congress leader also accused BJP regime of failing to properly implement Jawahar Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) scheme in the state.Read Full Story
