Eight injured as bus skids off the road near Chopal

Shimla: Eight passengers sustained injuries as an HRTC bus carrying 30 people skidded off the road near Lawoni-Bamdi area of Chopal sub-division of Shimla district today noon. The bus hit a huge tree trunk preventing a major tragedy as otherwise it would have rolled down the hill. The injured passengers have been referred to IGMC Shimla. Police have registered a case to ascertain the reason behind the accident.
